How will I get to the wedding?
Complimentary round-trip transportation will be provided between the Loews Philadelphia Hotel in Center City and Tyler Arboretum. Shuttles will arrive at the hotel at 3:15 PM and depart promptly at 3:30 PM prior to the ceremony. Return transportation will be available following the reception. Additional details can be found in the Travel & Accommodations section.
What time should I arrive?
The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00pm. We kindly ask that you arrive 15-30 minutes before the start of the ceremony. There will be pre-ceremony beverage stations (non-alcoholic) available from 4:30-5:00pm so you can enjoy a cool drink and mingle before finding your seat.
What is the dress code?
The dress code for our wedding is formal. We suggest suits and long or midi-length dresses. As our celebration will take place in a garden setting, we encourage colorful, festive attire. We kindly ask that guests refrain from wearing white.
Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Our afternoon ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors in the garden and patio area. The reception will be held in a tented area and the barn. Guests will walk along gravel pathways and step onto grass to reach their seats for the ceremony, so we kindly recommend avoiding stiletto or thin heels. Block heels or flats are encouraged for comfort.
If you have any accessibility or mobility concerns, please let us know—we are happy to help accommodate you and there will be a golf cart available, if needed.
Is there parking available at your wedding venue?
Yes—there is on-site parking available at Tyler Arboretum for guests who prefer to drive.
Are kids allowed?
While we love your little ones, we have decided to make our Saturday wedding at Tyler Arboretum an adults-only celebration. Children are welcome to join us for Friday’s welcome reception at Love City Brewing, but we kindly ask that the wedding itself be adults-only. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!
Can I bring a plus one?
To keep our wedding intimate, we've reserved seats for our closest family and friends only. Please only bring guests specifically named on your invitation.
What if I have food allergies or dietary restrictions?
If you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please note them in the designated section of your digital RSVP. We will be offering a variety of entrée options, and cocktail hour appetizers will be clearly labeled, with several allergy-friendly options available. We want everyone to feel comfortable and well fed!
Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?
Yes! We have reserved room blocks at Loews Philadelphia Hotel and The Inn at the Union League. We recommend booking as early as possible to guarantee availability within our blocks. Please visit the Travel & Accommodations section of our website for booking links and details.
Have another question we didn’t answer?
Please feel free to reach out to us or our parents with any questions ahead of the big day.
